Here’s why you should write about whatever the heck you want.

Journaling your thoughts is not a new trend. It’s been a known therapy for hundreds of years and allows you to release burdensome frustrations or deeply rooted pain that has nowhere else to go.
Writing about “what’s haunting you” also gives you an audience even if it’s just the paper you’re writing on. And if what you need to say isn’t something that you would voice in real life, you can unload your burdens with the privacy of pen and paper. Just make sure that you shred those pages later to avoid snooping eyes!
2. It provides entertainment.
